Pistol Capstone: Saturday, September 21 - Sunday, September 22, 2024

This is your pistol assessment course.

The Pistol Capstone measures the shooter’s ability to apply pistol fundamentals against our pistol standards.

This Capstone tests and ultimately develops the following shooting-related skills:

  • Vision

  • Grip

  • Drawing the Pistol

  • Managing Recoil

  • Manipulating the Pistol

  • Running with the Pistol

  • Engaging Multiple Targets

  • Moving to Shoot

  • Shooting While Moving

Schedule:

  • Day 1 Morning: Pre-Assessment

  • Day 1 Afternoon: Training Session I

  • Day 2 Morning: Training Session II

  • Day 2 Afternoon: Final Assessment

Training Duration: (16) Hours.

Required gear: semi-auto pistol, IWB or OWB holster, at least (3) magazines, at least (2) magazine holders, ear & eye protection, durable outer wear, rain jacket, lunch, and water.

Estimated Round Count: 750.

Club opens at 8:00 AM. Course begins at 9:00 AM.

Course purchases are non-refundable. In the event a course is canceled due to weather, students will be given the option of a full refund or a “course credit” toward a future course.
